The village has a small square with a number of taverna's and bars scattered in and around the village for you to sit and while away those relaxing evenings whilst thinking of what you are 'not' going to do tomorrow. </FONT></div> <bR> <div> There is a traditional <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="id60.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="The church viewed from the square"><U>Greek Orthodox Church</U></A></FONT> just off the square and an amphitheater at one end of the village which puts on events at various times during the year.</div> <bR> <div> Pissouri is approximately half way between Paphos Town 25 minutes to the west, and Limassol approximately 20 minutes to the east, both easily accessible via the main Larnaca to Paphos motorway.</div> <bR> <div> Car hire and Taxi's are available from the shops near the beach or in the village.</div> <bR> <div> Heading inland for 30 minutes, takes you up to the cooler air of the Troodos mountains.
